TAG TUESDAY: Chocolate Book Tag

Wednesday 30 August 2017

So I've decided I am going to start doing 'Tag Tuesday',  where I complete a book tag I've seen or been tagged in. I want to start posting more regularly and I think this is a great way to get the momentum flowing.

For my first Tag Tuesday I am going to be completing The Chocolate Book Tag, I was tagged by the lovely Becky from Coffee, Cocktails and Books. Thank you for this tag Becky and for all your support.

1Dark Chocolate — A book that covers a dark topic (abuse, domestic violence, rape, loneliness, bullying, death, etc)

Thirteen Reasons Why covers most of the above topics mentioned, I will give a trigger warning for these as well as suicide, it is a very heavy read and not a book I would recommend to someone lightly.

2. White Chocolate — Your favorite light-hearted/humorous read

I first read this series back in high school and I love them so much! They are light, care-free and HILARIOUS! Whenever I see 'Knocked out by my nunga-nunga's' on my shelf I giggle. This move is also one of my all time favourites!

3. Milk Chocolate — A book that has a lot of hype that you’re dying to read

I have heard so much about this book series and I am dying to dive in! I absolutely adore the A Court of Thorns and Roses series, so I am hoping I will feel the same about this series!

4. Chocolate with a caramel center — Name a book that made you feel all gooey in the middle while you were reading it

Speaking of the A Court of Thorns and Roses series, lets talk ACOMAF. I can't even think about this book for too long before wanting to lay in the fetal position and sob from all the feelings. This book made me feel all the emotions, all the feelings.. I still can't even with this book I love it so much!

5. Wafer-free Kit-Kat — Name a book that surprised you lately

I have heard so much about this book and many of my friends love this book but I did not realize how much this would blow my mind, the stress was real when I was reading this book! I loved the format and the twists and turn, I have already purchased Gemina (the next book in the series) and I'm excited to read it soon!

6. Snickers — A book that you are going nuts about

When I heard about this book I knew I would like it, what surprised me was just how much I loved it. I absolutely adore this book, it resonated with me so deeply; this and ACOMAF are my top reads of the year so far!

7. Hot Chocolate with cream and marshmallows — What book would you turn to for a comfort read?

When I'm feeling down or in need of comfort, I go home to Hogwarts. These books have a piece of my soul, I love them so so much and they always make me feel better; I fall in love with them again each time I read them.

8. Box of chocolates — What series have you read that you feel has a wide variety and a little something for everyone

Harry Potter, what a suprise! Hahaha.
I think this series can be enjoyed by everyone, old or young you can read these books and lose yourself in the magic of the wizard world. I think you'd have to be trying pretty hard to dislike these books!

So that completes my first ever Tag Tuesday, slightly late in my time zone but better late than never! Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my blog, let me know your thoughts about these books!

I tag my beautiful friends:

Erena from An Organised Pile of Mess

Stephanie from Stephanie Leanne Bookish

See you next Tuesday, xx
